Baluran national park

at the beginning of this holiday, was my first visiting baluran national park. I thought this park has a lot of animals, it does but i just didnt see them probably.
this national park located about 6 hrs from Surabaya, u re gonna pass the beach along the way here, and jawa power also (mostly people call it as paiton).

we arrived in the afternoon around 4pm, and hired a house for 40$ 4 persons. the house located directly in front of the beach inside this national park, what a house :)

the house
there was no electricity after 11pm because they use a diesel machine, but if u really scared of the dark, they can turn the diesel machine on, but of course there will be additional charge for that.
well at least buying drink and get smashed better than paying the additional charge for the electricity.
I would ve made a fire and brought guitar to make that night perfect by the way otherwise the car would not got enough space if i brought guitar.

Snorkeling for 6$ is a great price we could get here, started in the morning.
that is the boat for snorkeling
this tree was in front of our house exactly

We got to this beach for 1 hour from Baluran national entrance gate, the road was really rocky and never try to get here by your porsche :p

Ijen mountain, viewed from baluran national park

yeah you re right, this park almost look the same with africa, unfortunately we just saw deers and some buffalo.

It s a good trip after visiting ijen crater and 2 hours to get to this national park from there. and i strongly suggest you not to drive to ijen crater with double axle car. :)

Balekambang Beach Camping

Balekambang beach has a quiet good panorama and view, located about 3 hrs from the center of Malang. we went here and doing camp, making camp fire, and smoking a bit of marijuana, it was really enjoying for God damn sake :D

there was a couple who married in this beach when we went there, and they played the dangdut music along the night. GOOYAAANGGGG !!!

we arrived there at the right time, 4.50pm so that we could enjoy the sunset.

There is a temple, and you need to go there trough the bridge.
we were setting up the tent and ready to have delightful camp :D

Pengabdian Masyarakat

Civil engineering department went to a rural area,  tried to feel what poor people have been feeling by living together in several days..

Being an organizer committee president wasnt so easy in this program, but it gave me such awesome experience. This rural area named as Dusun Gridim, located about 1 hr from the city center of Lamongan, it was pretty much hard to reach this area because we used double axle cars and the road was just like off road track (but not that much).

The main purpose of this program is to make students who will lead Indonesia know about what poor people feel so that someday when they are really sitting on the government seat they will remember and do the best to save and welfare these people.
not only living on this rural area and help the resident to go to the rice field, bathing cows, etc, but also in the last day of this program we made a collaboration with dentistry department due to developing this rural area and giving explanation about the importance of brushing teeth.

we taught the kids how to do brush teeth well, doing teeth check up

There were about 180 students from civil engineering department participating in this program, they crashed with host family in there and doing activities like daily activities of the residents in this rural area, i worked as an organizer and venue controlling, always sleep until the middle of the day because i had a things evaluation in the middle of the night and that made me slept very late.
very very old cooking style, eh
this was the place where i ate, crashed the night, doing Organizing Committee evaluation, and place for cooking food at once
there was a man who owns this place where i had been living during the program, he was a really good man named 'Cak Mat', very kind and nice, whenever we need help he was always help us out and sometimes when we were doing evaluation meeting he gave us snacks, and so often he told his history in living his life. he told those things to us like 100 times and sounded like listening to a radio, but otherwighed he was still the best and the most kind person in this rural area who took care of us.
but unfortunately i dont have his photo.

Journey to bajul mati beach

I left the center of malang to this beach at 4.30 in the early morning by motorcycle, and I saw many beautiful panoramas along the way. There were several foggy and scary road that I ve been passing for minutes. In the middle of my journey to this beach a tire of my motorcycle leaked and when I went back from  the beach I fucked up because my tire leaked for the second time.

This is a brand new beach at south of malang, about 2 hours from the center of malang. This beach has really good waves to surf since it was scaring me when I came here at the first time.

But it was such enjoyable day and journey so that I was being still happy even though my tire was screwed me up twice.
illustration of nyi roro kidul
The myth tells, people who wears a green will stolen by a spirit called ‘nyi roro kidul’ in this beach and never comes back. Several evidences were proven some time ago, believe or not.

traditional culture as a bridge

Traditional Culture As a Bridge To a Better Earth

Making the culture as a valuable aspect of the universal is one way to change the world for the better because the youth who are candidates for successor of the nation can better appreciate him and his country in the eyes of the world.
Maybe not all countries have a traditional culture that has emerged hundreds years before, but what I see from my side as citizens of Indonesia that the average foreigner visiting or perform duties in Indonesia is an assessment of their incredible variety of cultures Indonesia state owned. Maybe if the state of Indonesia or other countries that have traditional cultural diversity is viewed in terms of political development or technology and teaching methods in schools is still not able to be at the top of the world, but Indonesia has a very valuable force in the eyes of the world of culture.
But on the other hand many of the youth of the nation and the world are more likely to forget the culture in their countries. This is what needs to be improved by giving them insights and show the opportunities and pride when they can bring their culture into the eyes of the world.

I have a dream in which one day will be gathered 5 thousands youths who represent their country and have a passion for changing the world better in a grand ceremony held each year which aims to create harmony young men of the nation so that the power to carry out activities are applicable to the world a better change can be larger.
Lots of other activities that can be done to change the world for the better example is from the environment is the use of alternative energy as primary energy sources (solar energy source, hydro energy source, wind energy source), increase the power of ozone with the planting of billion trees and disciplinary exploitation of forests, water use net wisely, etc. From the education side of the example is to provide education free of charge to poor children in each country, providing information to schools that are less developed, personality education from an early age and more.
From the examples of applicative to change the world for the better over if started from harmony, sensitivity and communication of the successor nations around the world it will be very revolutionary. Because we will change the world, then the proper successor to the youth throughout the world that change and must go together. .

Sunrise in Sanur, Bali

The Beach where you can see the peaceful sunrise in bali. There are 3 gazebos where you can do meditation or just sitting and enjoying the sunrise. When the sun comes the water becomes warm and it s really nice to swim in the morning here, here you can rent a kayak and seeing sunrise closer on the water. In front of this beach there are few restaurants where you can have a cup of tea in the morning, to make your morning time more pleasurable.
a couple who were enjoying their romantic time

There is a mini market (Circle K) in front of this beach which sells some meals, snacks, hot drinks, cake, etc with low price. Bringing dog and doing jogging in this place is an interesting idea to do.
Sometimes there is a party in this beach at the night, and some hotels which located in front of this beach provide many tables for couples to have romantic dinner.
